The online databases and resources to which the Library of the University of Suriname currently subscribes as well as some open access databases (agriculture, health, politics, socio-economics, environment). Access to certain databases is restricted, and offered on-site only: access to these databases is available for users on Campus at the University Campus and the "Prof. Dr. Paul C. Flu" Institute for Biomedical Sciences (M.W.I.).

The Library also participates in several international and regional networks (for some as the national coordinator). Data is processed by different institutions and sent to headquarters by our Automation department (Head: Glenda N. Louis, data.adekbib@uvs.edu).

The department Information Mediation (info.adekbib@uvs.edu, phone 465558 ext. 262) and our Medical Library (medbib@sr.net, phone 434211), having access to databases on a subscription basis, can be of assistance in information retrieval.
