The Central Library, located at the Leysweg, is divided in the following departments: 

Information Processing (doc.adekbib@uvs.edu)
This department primarily deals with the processing (classification) of information resources (books, papers, dissertations, reports, proceedings, journals, cd's, dvd's, e-documents, newspapers, newspaper articles, etc.).

Circulation (Loan) (uitleen.adekbib@uvs.edu)
The main purpose of this department is to make accessible to users (loan) all material and/or data available in the collection.

Information Mediation (Reference Services) (info.adekbib@uvs.edu)

This department specializes in that part of the users process that stimulates an optimal use of information, utilizing internal and external resources.

Automation (data.adekbib@uvs.edu)

This unit is very crucial in any organization and supports the management in the decision-making process regarding ICT.
