United Nations Bibliographic Information System

UNBISnet is the primary index to United Nations documentation published since 1979, or earlier for selected major documents. It also includes the online catalogue of the collections of the Dag Hammarskjold Library at UN Headquarters and the Library of the UN Office at Geneva.

It contains bibliographic records of both UN material (documents and publications) and non-UN material (trade/commercial publications), catalogued or indexed by these two libraries.

The UNBIS Thesaurus, contains the terminology used in subject analysis of documents and other materials relevant to UN programmes and activities. It is used as the subject authority of the UNBISnet.
